Antique GCE Wood Radio
The original cabinet was painted solid black and orange,
to strip the cabinet and stain it with a naturalistic wood color.
The speaker cone was eaten away by mice.
On a positive and interesting note, the
chassis still held all the original GE tubes.
The chassis rust was cleaned up.

This is a wind-up alarm clock by Westclox*,
true to the original case design by Ellworth Danz.
Nickel plated base and bezel. Black case back,
black dial with white numbers. Luminous hands!
The movement design has been updated,
with some improvements to the original.
These have separate winders for
time and alarm and separate setting stems.
